I have over twelve years of experience teaching in Middle School.  I love technology and use it every day to motivate and engage my students.

I am certified in Reading, Middle Grades Language Arts, Middle Grades Social Studies and History for grades 6-12.  I am also certified to teach Gifted Students.

I served as seventh grade chairperson for five years and I served as the Talent and Development chairperson for two years.  I served on the leadership team, the superintendent's advisory committee, and mentored new teachers.  I also presented on how to use literacy to improve science at the Georgia Science Teachers Association conference in 2016 and 2017.
