I have over twelve years of experience teaching in Middle School. I love technology and use it every day to motivate and engage my students.
I am certified in Reading, Middle Grades Language Arts, Middle Grades Social Studies and History for grades 6-12. I am also certified to teach Gifted Students.
I served as seventh grade chairperson for five years and I served as the Talent and Development chairperson for two years. I served on the leadership team, the superintendent's advisory committee, and mentored new teachers. I also presented on how to use literacy to improve science at the Georgia Science Teachers Association conference in 2016 and 2017.
